Target Group

Global Symposium targeted by invitation 250 humanitarian information professionals representing UN and international organisations, governments (especially affected governments), donor representatives, NGOs and other relevant organisations involved in humanitarian information from all regions and agency headquarters while others were identified in relation to their professional capacities. Participants included representatives from all cluster lead agencies, Humanitarian Coordinators/Resident Coordinators, information management practitioners, early warning and preparedness officers, humanitarian affairs officers, public information and advocacy officers as well as technical specialists.
