Training Description

This course aims at presenting the chronological steps to be undertaken when planning and implementing a relief intervention. It covers the main approaches of emergency relief, including an introduction to nutritional assessments, and focuses on the planning and implementation of various types of relief interventions.

The course includes presentations by representatives of major international relief organisations based in Geneva and a visit of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum

Training Cost
Early bird fee/full fee (in Swiss Francs): Non-OECD: CHF 1450/1700 - OECD: CHF 1950/2200 The course fee covers tuition, training materials and handouts, lunch and refreshments during course breaks, and a course certificate.
