Training Description

This interactive course is concerned with understanding and resolving destructive and violent conflicts between identity groups that have escalated to the point of intractability. Concepts and models for analyzing intractable identity conflicts will be discussed, and a variety of methods for addressing such conflicts will be covered. In addition to negotiation and mediation as central processes, methods relevant to prenegotiation and post-agreement will be described.
