I. SITUATION OVERVIEW

A. Affected Population - Tab A

- A total 806,396 families 13,795,478 persons were affected in 5,182 barangays, 367 municipalities, and 35 cities in 27 provinces in Regions I, Il, III, IV-A, V, VI, CAR and NCR

- There were 12,292 families 1 60,741 persons temporarily staying in 191 evacuation centers

B. Casualties - Tab B

- Total casualty figure is 668: 419 dead, 184 injured and 51 missing

433 DEAD:

71 in Region I (20 in Pangasinan, 1 in Ilocos Sur, 2 in Ilocos Norte, and 48 in La Union); 346 in CAR (300 in Benguet, 2 in Kalinga, 1 in Abra, 1 in Ifugao; and 42 in Mt Province); 10 in Region III (3 in Nueva Ecija, 5 in Pampanga and 2 in Tarlac)- 1 in Region IV-A (Quezon Province); and 4 in Region V (3 in Camarines Sur and 1 in Naga City) The reported deaths in CAR were mainly due to landslides while those in other regions were due to drowning.

184 INJURED:

124 in CAR (1 in Kalinga, I in Apayao, 121 in Benguet, 1 in Mt. Province); 53 in Region I (4 in Ilocos Norte, 48 in La Union; and 7 in Region II (6 in Cagayan and 1 in Tuguegarao City)

51 MISSING:

36 in CAR (Benguet); 12 in Region I (6 in La Union, 5 in Pangasinan, and 1 in [locos Norte); 1 in Region 11 (Cagayan); and 2 in Region III (1 in Nueva Ecija and 1 in Pampanga)
