Nov 15 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq as of 1400 GMT on Monday.

* MOSUL - Armed men forced their way into a Christian home in the eastern parts of Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, killing two men, police said.

* MOSUL - A roadside bomb went off in eastern Mosul, wounding two civilians, the police said.

* SAMARRA - Gunmen shot and seriously wounded the deputy commander of a government-backed Sunni militia in Samarra, 100 km (62 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

QAIM - A bomb placed inside a traffic police booth killed one policeman and wounded four passers-by in Qaim, 300 km (185 miles) west of Baghdad, police said.

QAIM - Five people were wounded when a roadside bomb targeting a police patrol went off in a village near Qaim, police said.

QAIM - An insurgent was wounded when a bomb he was trying to plant went off in Qaim, police said.

RASHAD - Two insurgents were killed when a roadside bomb they were trying to plant exploded in Rashad, near Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

KIRKUK - A roadside bomb went off near a joint police and Kurdish security forces patrol in central Kirkuk, wounding one of the Kurdish forces, police said.

MOSUL - Two car bombs went off in quick succession near a compound which houses policemen and employees working at the Badoush prison near Mosul. Two people, including a police officer, were killed in the explosion, and 17 people, including two policemen, were wounded, police and hospital sources said.

BAGHDAD - Two policemen and three other people were wounded when a roadside bomb went off near a police patrol in Palestine Street in northeastern Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb wounded one civilian and two Iraqi soldiers while on foot patrol near al-Nasr Square in central Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.

BAGHDAD - A sticky bomb attached to a car killed the driver, an embassy security guard, and wounded a passenger in Baghdad's west-central district of Mansour, on Sunday night, an Interior Ministry source said.
