Very Dear Friends and Supporters,

No matter how many difficulties Atfaluna students faced throughout this year from the continuance closure and the last war over the Gaza Strip, Atfaluna School had been competent to finish their education for the year 2008-2009. This year, 276 students join the final exams with 92% success rate; sixteen students out of them graduated from the ninth grade.

During this year, Atfaluna School was distinguished in implementing a variety of extracurricular activities where Atfaluna students were notable and superior in. Atfaluna students won the first awards in the Palestinian Debka Dance Contest, technology competition, and a drawing competition. Additionally, Atfaluna School hosted a week of extracurricular activities where Atfaluna deaf students and other hearing students from public schools participated in many cultural, sport, and art activities. These remarkable achievements could not make you feel less than proud of the deaf determination to prove themselves in many fields.
