US special envoy resumes meetings with Naivasha partners

The Sudan People's Liberation Movement informed the US Special Envoy to Sudan, Scott Gration, that it holds firm to its stance on the National Security and South Sudan referendum draft bills. Deputy Secretary General of SPLM for Northern Sector, Yasir Arman, said his movement is ready to reach a compromise. The US Special Envoy presented earlier to the National Congress Party's delegation, headed by Presidential Advisor, Ghazi Salaheddin, a number of proposals to diffuse the deadlock on the 5th population census results and South Sudan Referendum.
