BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting a U.S. military patrol wounded five civilians in southeast Baghdad's Rustumiya district, police said.

MOSUL - Gunmen shot dead a woman near her house in western Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, on Sunday, police said.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb wounded three policemen when it exploded near their patrol in western Mosul on Sunday, police said.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb wounded a boy near his home in western Mosul on Sunday, police said.

KIRKUK - Gunmen in a car shot and wounded an off-duty police officer driving his car in southern Kirkuk, 250 km (155 miles) north of Baghdad, on Sunday, police said.
