International Development Minister Erik Solheim is to meet Mr Anton Balasingham, chief negotiator of the Tamil Tigers (LTTE), in London on 29 March for talks on the Sri Lanka peace process.
One topic of discussion will be the implementation of the commitments made by the Government of Sri Lanka and the LTTE in their joint statement at the end of the Geneva talks on the implementation of the Ceasefire Agreement in February this year. Mr Solheim and Mr Balasingham will also discuss issues relating to the next round of talks.
