Azerbaijani president inaugurates residential building for IDPs


Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has attended inauguration of a 9-storey residential building for 369 internally displaced families in Binagadi district of Baku. Here, the President was warmly welcomed by builders and IDPs, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.

The Head of State became familiar with apartments of the building.

He was informed that the construction of the building started in 2008, and its total area is 27. 897 sq. meters.

To improve living conditions of IDPs, five nine-storey buildings with 63 apartments and one with 54 apartments as well as a school for 260 pupils were built here.

The area around the building was improved with the greening area expanded.

The apartments were provided with public utilities.

President Ilham Aliyev made a speech in the event. He posed for photographs together with the IDPs.

The Head of State also familiarized himself with the school.
