The map shows the area of northern Padang
including important infrastructure. Destroyed and damaged structures have
been derived by analyzing information provided by the Indonesian disaster
management authority and may be incomplete and in some cases inaccurate.
An IKONOS image acquired on April 12, 2005 was used as backdrop and superimposed
on an elevation model based on DTM data.
