RAINFALL/FLOOD SITUATION IN THE COUNTRY

HARYANA

- No significant rainfall has been reported in the State.

- The flood situation in district Ambala, Kurushetra, Kaithal, Sirsa and Fatehabad is improving and is under control.

- 600 Villages (Kurukshetra-247, Kaithal-147, Ambala-22, Fatehabad-127 and Sirsa-57) have been affected.

- 30 human live lost have been reported so far across the state.

- 67 cattle/livestock have perished.

- 02 teams of NDRF have been deployed in Sirsa district consisting of 59 personnel alongwith boats and other life saving aids, for emergency response and rescue operations in flood affected area.

- The situation is under control and getting back to normal.
