WFP hunger hotspots: Chad - 20 Nov 2009


First trucks carrying sugar for school meals for Kanem (in the west of the country) and Guéra (central Chad) arrived in N'Djamena last week and all is being done to get food positioned in these regions by 15 November. The convoy of 24 trucks carrying 720 mt of sorghum that left Benghazi (Libya) last week is expected in Abéché in the first week of December. This is the first lot of the 17,320 mt that were received in Benghazi early last month for EMOP 10559.1.
