DR Congo: MONUC rejects irresponsible allegations published by New Times of Kigali

Kinshasa, 6 November 2009 - The United Nations Mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (MONUC) denies categorically the irresponsible and unfounded allegations of cooperating with the FDLR in an article published in today's New Times in Kigali. The article, alleging cooperation between MONUC and the FDLR, has absolutely no basis in fact and violates in every respect the norms of ethical and professional journalism.
