Morocco to send emergency humanitarian aid to Yemen

Rabat - Upon instructions issued by H.M. King Mohammed VI, Morocco decided on Friday to send emergency humanitarian aid to Yemen, to help citizens who have been displaced as a result of unrest in certain regions in the north of the country.

Morocco's Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the aid is made up mainly of medicines, foodstuff and tents.

Morocco reiterates its position in favour of the unity and territorial security of Yemen, and supports the Yemeni government's efforts to ensure security, stability and national unity and put an end to separatism, the statement added.
