Myanmar: Floods Situation Report #4, 23 June 2010

I. HIGHLIGHTS/KEY PRIORITIES

- The Prime Minister of the Union of Myanmar, U Thein Sein, is due to travel to Northern Rakhine State (NRS) on 23 June

- The number of people killed has increased from 56 to at least 63, according to State media

- UNHCR estimates that over 27,000 families have been affected by the floods and are in need of relief support

- Two additional convoys of emergency supplies will be sent to NRS in the coming days
