A seventh plane carrying 15 Tons of aid, part of a relief operation launched upon the instructions of King Mohammed VI of Morocco in solidarity with the Palestinian populations in the Gaza Strip, arrived on Monday in the Egyptian airport of EL Arich (380 km north-east of Cairo).

Since Friday, Morocco has sent more than 90 Tons of humanitarian aid (foodstuffs, pharmaceutical and medical products, blankets...) that was delivered to the Palestinian Red Crescent over the weekend at the Rafah rossing on the Egyptian border.

More Moroccan planes are expected to airlift more humanitarian aid for the Palestinians in Gaza, subjected for the third week to a barbarous Israeli offensive that has killed over 900 people, most of whom are civilians, and wounded more than 4,100 others.

King Mohammed VI has also ordered the opening of a special "Palestine relief account" at Morocco's central bank "Bank Al-Maghreb" to enable citizens to make donations to assist the Palestinian people.

The collected funds will purchase medicines and food products to be shipped to Gaza by the Royal Armed Forces.
