Factbox - Security developments in Iraq, 18 Nov 2009


Nov 18 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1330 on Wednesday.

GARMA - A roadside bomb struck a police patrol, wounding two policemen, in Garma, 30 km (20 miles) northwest of Baghdad, police said.

BAQUBA - Gunmen stormed a house and killed a local Sunni Arab pro-government militia leader and his cousin in a village near Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) northeast of Baghdad, police said.

FALLUJA - A bomb planted on a bicycle wounded a policeman in Falluja, 50 km (32 miles) west of Baghdad, on Tuesday evening, police said.
