AGMIN Italy for the European Commission (Framework Contract)

Overall objective

The Overall objective of the service contract is to improve the impact of the EIDHR Programme in Jordan.

Specific Objectives
  • To improve the capacity of awarded CSOs to manage and give adequate visibility/communication to EIDHR projects
  • To improve the capacity of awarded CSOs to build synergies with other stakeholders and to capitalize their experience
  • To improve the outreach of the programme through better capacity of potential applicants to access EC grants
  • To improve the potential impact of projects by investigating new approaches to design human rights/democracy projects.

The profile of the expert are as follows:

Trainer / Human Rights Specialist (category II)

Education: university degree in Communication, Social/Political Science, international relations, Journalism or in related fields.

Work Experience: a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in human rights, particularly in the design of projects. Experience of working with EC human rights instruments and procedures essential. Proven experience in training CSOs on the PCM and the log frame. Proven experience of building the capacity of NGOs and other civil society actors. Experience of working with EC human rights instruments and procedures essential. Experience of the Jordanian context of CSOs is an asset.

Language: fluency in Arabic and English

Backstopping and support staff costs must be included in the fee rates of the expert.
