SOUTH SUDAN – Nutrition Project Manager
Based in Motot, Wuror County
To start immediately for 12 months.
We are currently seeking an individual with proven experience in managing Community Based nutrition programmes.
Applicants will have excellent people and project cycle management skills to lead Sudanese staff to implement sustainable solutions. An ability to establish strong relationships with the local community and government representatives will be vital. You should have good technical knowledge with a degree or equivalent in a related sector. The candidate should have experience of leading nutritional surveys as well as analysing statistics and reporting findings, writing nutrition survey reports and have experience of proposal and donor report writing, including experience liaising with UN donors WFP and UNICEF. Experience of running a community based nutrition programme integrated with primary health care facilities and community health education activities will be highly desirable. The candidate should have experience of working in a remote and insecure environment.
Applicants must be fluent in English and have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong training and coaching skills are essential to capacity build staff and communities. Knowledge and understanding of the Southern Sudan context would be an advantage. All posts involve potential contact with children and the recruitment process will include specific checks related to child protection issues.
Gross salary: £23,735 + 10% Pension Contribution
