VSO is an international development agency that works through volunteers to fight global poverty and disadvantage around the world.
In this unique role within the Philanthropy and Programme Funding team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of sizable grants that directly support our UK and overseas programmes. In addition, you will research, manage and develop a portfolio of trusts and foundations which will help contribute to the team’s ambitious income target of £2.7m by 2012. You will combine drive and motivation with a keen attention to detail and be a confident self-starter but also a reliable and flexible team player. Your excellent understanding of programme funding, and proven success in securing grant funds from donors (ideally within a trust and foundation context), will be essential to ensure your success in this role.
