Job Description
Working on an International/Afghan team to assist in developing the strategic elements of Counter Narcotics Advisory Team program (CNAT) in Afghanistan. This will include identifying and assessing local political conditions, opportunities for assistance with the formulation and implementation of local policy, and developing a strong information campaign to provide Afghan farmers with economic opportunities and alternatives to poppy cultivation.
Position Requirements
- Former NGO senior representatives experienced working in developing countries. OR Former military experience (O-4, E-8 or higher) or FSO-2/GS-14 or higher.
- Four-year college degree (preferably graduate degree).
- Two or more years working in a developing country, preferably on counter-narcotics, agricultural, or public information programs.
