ARD Inc. (http://www.ardinc.com) is accepting expressions of interest from qualified senior level candidates for leadership of a USAID funded local governance and transparency program in Central America. This position will provide long-term technical and financial direction/oversight to the project throughout the five years implementation period.

Responsibilities:

- Coordinate closely with USAID in developing, implementing, and revising the project’s overall field strategy;
- The candidate must be the principal link between USAID, ARD, and other partners;
- Provide overall guidance to subcontractors and grant recipients;
- Provide comprehensive expert technical oversight and guidance in all aspects of the program.

Qualifications:

- Must have minimum 12 years of relevant technical experience working in local governance, decentralization and transparency in Latin America;
- Firsthand working experience in promoting public policy dialog and reform;
- Previous experience working on similar USAID funded programs in Latin America is highly desirable;
- Proven experience in managing large interdisciplinary teams as well as working in politically sensitive contexts;
- Advanced degree in law, politics, economics or other relevant field is required;
- S/he must be proficient in Spanish and English.
