(CLOSED) Programme Specialist: Peacebuilding and Access to Justice

This post will be located in either Bukavu, the DRC or Kigali, Rwanda
(Three-Year Contract)

Location: Bukavu, the Democratic Republic of Congo, or Kigali, Rwanda.
SCIAF is the international relief and development agency of the Catholic Church in Scotland. For over forty years, we have helped poor people in their struggle to build a better future. From our global headquarters in Glasgow, we support projects in over 20 countries which help to improve people’s lives and advocate for a fairer world.

You will oversee the implementation of SCIAF’s Sexual and Gender Based Violence programme in the Great Lakes Region, provide technical expertise in the area of peacebuilding and access to justice to partners in the DRC, Republic of Burundi and Republic of Rwanda and to SCIAF globally, and monitor and report on SCIAF grants in the DRC, Republic of Burundi and Republic of Rwanda known as the Great Lakes Region. Three years’ experience of managing institutional grants on peacebuilding and access to justice programmes are essential, including at least two years living in a developing country or countries. Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
