Job Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Excel Report Consultant will be responsible for creating and implementing the reporting and template needs of the program. The Consultant will be hired from design through training phases of the project, which is expected to last three months. In the absence of an appointed NfL Director of Finance the consultant will report to the NetsforLife Executive Director or his designate.
Specific Duties:
- Interpret budget template and reporting requirements.
- Design templates and reports in Excel with easy user-interface.
- Develop sophisticated macros to gather data from separate reports and synthesize into a summary report on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Develop training manual for field partners.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Educational Requirements - BA required in Finance, Mathematics, Information Systems, or related field.
Required Experience:
- Must have 5+ years experience and a proven track record in Excel models and templates.
- Expert Excel skills, including sophisticated macros, pivot tables, relational databases, and data analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of management information systems and staff training.
- SQL or Oracle experience preferred.
- Experience working in development and non-profit organizations preferred.
- Fluency in English essential.
Additional Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel to field partners.
