Location: Malawi - Lilongwe

The Malawi K4Health Coordinator supports and implements K4Health activities in Malawi. The K4Health Coordinator works closely with the K4Health team in Baltimore, MD, as well as the MSH team in Arlington and in Malawi. Main objectives include: working with key NGO and government stakeholders, established FP/RH and HIV/AIDS information networks, and District- and community-level health workers to improve the flow of knowledge and information to technical officers, program managers, District health coordinators and front-line health workers, with the overall goal of improving the quality of FP/RH and HIV/AIDS services by making essential health information easier to obtain and easier to use. The position is full-time and based in Lilongwe, Malawi, with regular travel throughout the country.

1. Master's Degree in Public Health, Sociology, Business, or equivalent experience.
2. Knowledge of HIV/AIDS prevention and RH/FP.
3. Demonstrated leadership in capacity building for NGOs, the Ministry of Health or the National AIDS Committee.
4. Solid experience facilitating large groups using adult learning techniques in a workshop or training setting.
5. Experience with information and knowledge management and dissemination preferred.
6. Availability to travel in-country on a regular basis.
7. Strong interpersonal, organizational, research, writing and verbal communication skills.
8. Willingness and ability to be flexible, to work independently, and to shift gears depending on changing priorities and deadlines.
9. Strong service and detail orientation.
10. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
