Acting on behalf of the Indonesian-German technical cooperation project Health Policy and Formulation (PAF) and AusAID as an additional funding agency for the costing study, GTZ is contracting a consulting company for the data collection and data entry activities on a health facility, district and province level. A total of 15 provinces will be included in the survey. ICON is now applying for this project.

the candidate should have experience in working as team leader and work experience with GTZ, work experience in Indonesia and knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia would be an advantage.

Further criteria:
experience in planning and impelmenting health related surveys,
fluency in english language,
good computer skills
project management experience

Job description:
The team leader will have a full time position and be posted in the central study unit in Jakarta. Her/his tasks will be to:
- Liaise between the PAF team and the staff based in the provinces/districts.
- Insure the good coordination between the national team of Independent Supervisors/Auditors and the contractor’s teams collecting data at the sub-national level.
- Provide monthly schedules of the proposed and implemented activities at the sub-national level.
- Provide monthly reports on progress of data collection, including the status of data collection for all variables, and a description of any issues or problems currently being encountered in the data gathering process and their solution.
- Timely reporting to the PAF study team about problems encountered in the field and measures taken to overcome such problems.
- Provide financial report on the activities in the format requested by the PAF study team
- The team leader will be assisted by administrative staff (see below).
