Crown Agents USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Staff Accountant for payroll in our Washington, DC office.

Roles & Responsibilities

Duties include but not limited to processing monthly payroll for CA-USA, TCN, and Consultants using ADP software.

Specific Responsibilities

- Process CA-USA monthly payroll utilizing ADP software
- Process TCN and Consultant Payroll (Calculate and or review all payroll related amounts including salary, post differential, post allowance, etc.)
- Record ADP, TCN and Consultant Payroll
- Liaison with HR Department regarding payroll related issues
- Resolve employees payroll queries
- Set-up new employees in Deltek and ADP
- Prepare journal entries to record payroll
- Reconcile payroll related accounts, i.e. Salaries payable, withholding accounts, etc.
- Perform quarterly 941 reconciliation
- Process manual payroll checks
- Review and distribute W-2’s
- Track and update employees’ leave balances
- Perform Timekeeping program upload and reconcile labor
- Process labor corrections as needed in Deltek.
- Collect all CAUSA timesheets (ensuring that the correct t/s is submitted with the proper signatures and that t/s matches what has been recorded in Deltek)
- Reconcile Intercompany invoices (CAFOGAL Labor)

General Ledger Account Analysis

- Reconcile all advances monthly
- Reconcile assigned General ledger accounts monthly
- Prepare monthly recurring journal entries
- Track fixed assets and record depreciation
- Reconcile Bank Accounts –BOA, CAUK, FSAs
- Maintain the Journal for all Bank accounts(Overseas)
- Process client invoices for assigned projects and activities
- Assist with the month end close

Qualifications

- Degree in Accounting
- 8 years of payroll experience
- 5 years of the overall 8 years in financial accounting in a US Government contracting organization, preferred.
- Experience in financial accounting in preparation of financial reports.
- Experience in transactional accounting specifically the input of financial data into an accounting system.
- Experience processing monthly payroll for domestic and international employees/consultants.
- Experience using ADP Pay Expert accounting software.
- Experience using Deltek GCS Premier.
