Here at World Vision we have a current opportunity for a Senior Peace & Conflict Policy Adviser to join our Policy & Research Team.

As Senior Peace & Conflict Policy Adviser you will bring:
- A wealth of experience in policy & public affairs
- A Masters Degree (or equivalent) in Conflict Studies, International Development, or a related discipline.

As Senior Peace & Conflict Policy Adviser you will be driven by a passion to reduce the structural causes of poverty resulting from conflict by:
- Identifying key trends & practices
- Developing advocacy strategies
- Commissioning research
- Preparing policy briefings on all aspects of Peace & Conflict.

This can’t be done in isolation, and your passion for building & promoting constructive relationships will enable you to engage effectively with policy makers, NGO coalitions, academic institutions, and the global World Vision Partnership.

The role of Senior Peace & Conflict Policy Adviser includes line management of the Humanitarian Policy Officer and a good knowledge of humanitarian issues in relation to conflict will be something you are confident in.
