Location: Indonesia - Central Sulawesi

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Overall responsibility for all aspects of program management of OCHA & AUSAID projects in Central Sulawesi, including keeping within budget, narrative reporting & following all IMC policies & procedures.

  • Ensure that start up activities are carried out with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Ensure that activities are carried out as planned and in accordance with approved grant proposal

  • Manage the day-to-day HR, admin/finance, logistics requirements of field office

  • Responsible for maintaining a climate of participation and collaboration among staff and partner organizations

  • Establish and maintain collaboration with UN agencies and international and local NGOs

  • Responsible for ensuring that security requirements are up-to-date and staff are in compliance with them

EXPERIENCE and/or EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five to seven year experience managing post-conflict/development programs
  • Experience in psychosocial programming
  • Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) background
  • Team player
  • Public health background preferred
  • Bahasa Indonesia language proficiency desired

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in precarious places. The employee could occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions. There may be no telephones, air conditioning, central heating or electricity in the home or work place.
