* SAMARRA - U.S. helicopter gunfire killed four gunmen planting a roadside bomb and wounded two civilians on Sunday in the city of Samarra, 100 km (62 miles) north of Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

BAGHDAD - Two roadside bombs wounded six people in the Saidiya district in southern Baghdad, police said.

BAQUBA - Gunmen kidnapped 14 members from one family when they stopped their minibus north of the city of Baquba, 65 km (40 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A car bomb killed one person and wounded five others on Sinak Bridge in central Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - Three bodies were found in different districts in Baghdad on Sunday, police said.

KUT - U.S. forces killed two gunmen and detained two others during operations in the Kut area, 170 km (100 miles) southeast of Baghdad, the U.S. military said.
