CHINA
• Severe weather, including heavy rain, thunderstorms and hail, has continued to affect the central and southern areas of the country, causing more casualties and damage.
• According to national authorities, five people have died, one has gone missing, 11 have been injured, over 3 600 people have been evacuated and over 23 600 houses have been partially or fully damaged in the provinces of Shanxi, Henan, Hubei, Sichuan, Shaanxi, Gansu, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, as of 7 June

HONDURAS
• Heavy rain has been affecting several areas of the country over the past few days causing rivers to overflow.
• According to media reports, several people were evacuated and some houses were damaged in the departments of El Valle and Cortes, as of 7 June

MEXICO
• A new Tropical Cyclone named "ONE-E" formed over the eastern North Pacific Ocean near the southern coasts of Mexico. It then moved east-northeast over waters, maintaining its intensity. On 7 June at 12.00 UTC its centre was located 115 km south-southwest of Salina Cruz (Oaxaca state) and it had max. sustained wind speed of 55 km/h (Tropical Depression).
• Over the next 24 h it is forecast to continue moving north-east over waters, as a Tropical Depression. It may approach the coast of southern Mexico on 7 June late evening (UTC), as a Tropical Depression. Heavy rain and strong winds are expected to affect the states of Oaxaca, Chiapas, Tabasco and eastern Veracruz. As of 7 June early morning (UTC), a Tropical Storm Watch is in effect for the states of Oaxaca and Chiapas.

USA
• On 7 June early morning (UTC), TC COLIN, made landfall in Taylor county (Florida state) with approx. max. sustained wind speed of 85 km/h (Tropical Storm). On 7 June at 12.00 UTC its centre was located 75 km south of Wilmington (North Carolina state) and it had max. sustained wind speed of 85 km/h.
• Over the next 24 h it is forecast to continue moving north-east, stregnthening but remaining a Tropical Storm. It then may move near and in parallel to the coast of North Carolina state. Heavy rain, strong winds, tornadoes and storm surge may affect the states of Florida, South and North Carolina. As of 7 June afternoon(UTC), a Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for several parts of the state of North Carolina.
• According to media reports, heavy rain has been affecting the states of Florida and Georgia causing floods. As of 7 June, local media reported power outages and traffic disruptions in several areas of both states.
