The
United Nations expresses its gratitude to the many generous Governments, groups
and individuals who are reaching out to help the victims of the floods in
Mozambique, Botswana, Zimbabwe and elsewhere in Southern Africa.

Cash

provide organizations with sufficient flexibility to meet the most urgent and
pressing needs. The Office for the
Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs serves as a channel for funds to be spent
by UN agencies. This Office will
provide written confirmation of the use of such funds to all donors.
