Indirect beneficiaries will be the inhabitants of adjacent villages and districts.

Linkages with other projects:

Implementation of these projects will encourage the success of other projects in the area like health, water supply, livelihood projects etc.

Implementation capacity:

PRB has been involved in implementation of various projects in Badkhshan province since 1991 with its qualified and experienced staff.

PRB has the proven capacity to identify, design, plan, implement and evaluate quality projects. It has sufficient local knowledge, technical capacity and strength in the target area.

Feasibility study:

PRB has conducted surveys in the target areas, the sheep to be distributed is abundantly available and the raw material for "Tan", Sweater and Soap production can be easily found in the market. Also markets of the products are available inside the country as well as abroad.

Sustainability:

Since the projects will be run by the community and help their welfare and livelihood high level of sustainability of the projects are anticipated.

Constraints:

If there is any delay in the supply of material for any reason or there is access disturbed, it would be constraint on meeting the target output.

Monitoring and evaluation:

Since the appeal of 1999 will be implemented under common program therefore it is expected that the monitoring and evaluation of the project be performed by UNHCR and other related UN agencies.

Human Rights/Gender:

In rural area of Afghanistan women performs a considerable share in food production, farm works, weaving and knitting industries. This project generally focuses and is designed for women.

Narcotics:

The improvement of living condition will keep away the people to think about the poppy cultivation. In Sheghnan district poppy cultivation is forbidden by religious leaders and no cultivation take place.
