HOW YOU CAN HELP

The United Nations expresses its gratitude to the many generous Governments, groups and individuals who are reaching out to help the victims of humanitarian emergencies.  Here is how you can help:

Cash contributions provide organizations with sufficient flexibility to meet the most urgent and pressing needs.  The Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs serves as a channel for funds to be spent by UN agencies.  This Office will provide written confirmation of the use of such funds to all donors.

Consolidated Inter-Agency Appeals are produced by OCHA on behalf of the members of the Inter-Agency Standing Committee, the main forum for decision-making among international humanitarian agencies.
